Na samym początku naszym zadaniem jest odnalezienie gnoma, który pomoże nam do nich dołączyć. Mowa tu o NPC Gnomerik. Niestety dotarcie do niego nie jest takie proste jak mogłoby się wydawać. Musimy udać się do starego, poczciwego krasnoluda NPC Xelvara, który posiadł wiedzę na temat Gnomiego Systemu Teleportów i chętnie się nią z nami podzieli. Xelvar znajduje się w Kazordoon, na północ od świątyni krasnoludzkiego miasta.

następnie udajemy się schodami w dół.
Recruitment
Udało się nam wykonać pierwszą - wprowadzającą - część zadania. Teraz przyszła kolej na udowodnienie gnomom, że się do nich nadajemy. Przed nami 6 testów, które sprawdzą wszystkie nasze umiejętności oraz zdrowie naszego ciała i ducha.
Test 1: A Test In Gnomology
NPC Gnomerik pragnie sprawdzić naszą wiedzę ogólną. Przeprowadzi test, składający się z 16 pytań zamkniętych (odpowiedzi: A,B,C,D). Maksymalna liczba punktów jakie możemy zdobyć wynosi 112. Zalicza 100 punktów. Odpowiedzi aby uzyskać maksymalną liczbę punktów:

Po każdej odpowiedzi musimy napisać słowo "test" aby usłyszeć kolejne pytanie.

Czas sprawdzić nasze wnętrze... dość dosłownie. Musimy pomyślnie przejść badanie rentgenem i promienia G (zwanymi u gnomów "g-rays")

Po rozmowie przechodzimy przez kwadrat na środku pomieszczenia, zamieniamy się w szkieleta, przechodzimy do następnego testu.
Test 3: Ear Examination
Czas zbadać nasz słuch. Na szczęście nie będziemy musieli zgadywać co szepcze do nas NPC, wystarczy zagadać do Doctor Gnomedix "hi" i wedle jego zaleceń stanąć na polu tuż obok nich i czekać. Na "Local Chat" pojawi się kilka komunikatów i kiedy pojawi się Strange Slime przed nami to oznacza, że zakończyliśmy test.
Test 4: Shooting
Czas wykazać się ... refleksem? Celnością? Szybkością? Naprawdę nie wiem. Idziemy do NPC Gnomaticus i rozmawiamy o badaniu:

Stajemy na jednej z trzech platform po lewej stronie i klikamy 'use' na działku przed nami kiedy kilka segmentów dalej, na linii strzału pojawi się Target Dummy. Pojawia się co kilka sekund. Czasami możemy pojawić się "cywil", kukiełka, która wygląda inaczej niż nasz cel i wtedy nie możemy strzelić. Musimy zestrzelić 5 Target Dummy. Po tej czynności ponownie rozmawiamy z Gnomaticusem.

Czasami kryształ zamiast fajerwerków przywita nas czerwonymi nutami i musimy zaczynać od nowa. Czasami dany kryształ trzeba kliknąć raz i od razu przejść dalej, a czasami nasza muzyka zaczyna się dwukrotnie od tego samego kryształu. Ciężko znaleźć dwie osoby o takiej samej muzyce. Zacznijmy od tego, że naszym zleceniodawcą jest Commander Stone, znajduje się on na południowym-wschodzie miasta, tuż obok poczty. Żeby otrzymać konkretne zadanie musimy z nim porozmawiać. Rozmowa z nim ulega zmianie po otrzymaniu nowego poziomu w rankingu gnomów.

Tym razem troszkę bardziej rozbudowa misja. Otrzymamy od zleceniodawcy Little Pig, którą będziemy musieli trzykrotnie nakarmić. Jednak ta świnka je tylko wybrane produkty. A dokładnie trufle, trufle w Truffles Ground gdzie się wybieramy. Od razu zobaczymy kilka (czasami mniej bo są zabijane przez graczy lub inne potwory, które się tam znajdują i mają ataki obszarowe) Mushroom Sniffer, które za nami chodzą (co też może przeszkadzać w walce). Musimy je zlurować na czarny punkt na ziemi, a dokładnie na You see mold floor.
Jeżeli będziemy mieli szczęście to pole zmieni się na You see some truffles, jeżeli natomiast szczęście nam nie dopiszę zobaczymy You see churned ground.
Jeżeli zobaczymy trufle używamy Little Pig na polu, tym samym ją karmiąc.
Jeżeli natomiast zobaczymy churned ground czekamy 40 sekund, do pojawienia się muld floor i ponownie lurujemy Mushroom Sniffer.

Naszym zadaniem będzie dojść z jednego punktu zaznaczonego na mapie do drugiego. Następnie należy włączyć mechanizm po czym będziemy musieli przetrwać 6 fal, które pojawiać się będą w krótkich odstępach czasowych bez względu na to, czy poprzednia fala została zabita. Po uporaniu się z Fungami pojawi się teleport. Będziemy mieli 60 sekund by do niego wejść. Gdy to uczynimy wejdziemy do jaskini Deathstrike’a. Mamy 30 minut na jego zabicie.

Trzeba pamiętać by Parasite’y respiły się tylko po zewnętrznej stronie bariery bo inaczej nic nam to nie da (można np użyć magic walli czy fire walli).
